From Cusco: Full day Uros and Taquile Island – Cusco, Peru

EXPERIENCE:

The tour starts with the pick up from the hotel at 9:00 p.m. to go to the bus terminal in Cusco to board the bus to Puno.
– Departure: 10:00 pm
– Arrival: 5:30 am (the following day)
Our staff will be waiting for your arrival in Puno, you will have enough time to have breakfast, after that we will start with the tour at 7:00 a.m. we will take you to the port of Puno, to board the boat.
We will have a guided visit to Uros Island which is built with totora reeds by its inhabitants, the same is used for the construction of their homes, boats (rafts), fuel and as food for human consumption.
We will visit Taquile Island where we will have a 1 hour walk to get to the village to observe the landscape and customs. We will have a typical lunch in a local restaurant. Where the inhabitants will show us their way of life through their weavings.
Finally, we will return to Puno arriving approx. at 5.00 p.m. (normal boat).
Transfer to the bus station: 9:00 pm.
We will pick you up and transfer you to the bus terminal in Puno to board the bus to Cusco.
– Departure: 10:00 pm
– Arrival: 5:30 am (the next day)
Our staff will be waiting to pick you up from the Cusco bus station to take you to your hotel.
