From Cusco: Full Day Tour to Humantay Lake – Cusco, Peru

EXPERIENCE:

This tour is for people who love nature and landscapes, this adventure hike crosses beautiful valleys and snow-capped mountains that give life to the Humantay lagoon, considered one of the most beautiful and sacred lagoons in the Cusco region.

The tour will begin with the pick-up from your respective hotels very early in the morning and then begin the trip by tourist transport for approximately 2 hours and we will arrive at our first point, the town of Mollepata where we will enjoy a delicious breakfast.

We continue our trip to Soraypampa, upon arrival we will be able to appreciate the beautiful view of the imposing Salkantay and Humantay snow-capped mountains. Then we prepare to begin the 3 kilometer walk to the lagoon for approximately an hour and a half, the path to the lagoon is a little steep.

After enjoying our first view of the lake, there is the option to walk to the left or right side of the lake where you can see a panoramic view. Then, we will descend to Soraypampa for approximately 1 hour, later we will take our return transportation to Mollepata where a buffet lunch will be provided. And finally we will return to the city of Cusco, where our transportation will leave you in the center of the city, two blocks from the Plaza de Armas.
