From Cusco: Full-Day Hike to Huchuy Qosqo – Cusco, Peru

EXPERIENCE:

This adventure begins with a hotel pickup at 8:00 AM. Together, you embark on a scenic drive through the majestic mountain range, heading eastward until you reach Patabamba, a rustic community nestled among the countless others in the Andes.

Upon arrival in Patabamba, you gear up and commence your hiking adventure. The trail, varying from easy to moderate. As you hike, take in the breathtaking Andean landscapes and admire the distant snow-capped peaks. The journey allows you to immerse yourself in the natural splendor of the Andes.

The hike spans 2 to 3 hours, depending on your physical condition. Upon reaching the awe-inspiring archaeological site of Huchuy Qosqo, it’s time to indulge in a well-deserved snack (lunch). This moment of replenishment provides the energy needed to keep exploring the remnants of Little Cusco (Huchuy Qosqo), delving into its historical significance and marveling at the ancient Incan wonders.

After the exploration, you embark on the final stretch of the trail, slightly descending, before reaching the transportation to take it back to Cusco. The experience concludes around 3:30 PM, leaving you with memories of an unforgettable adventure, rich in history, natural beauty, and cultural discoveries.
