EXPERIENCE:

Day 1 Cusco City – Limatambo – Chonta Village

Enjoy the majesty of the largest flying bird in the world!
We begin with pickup from the lobby of your hotel in Cusco at 8.30 am, where we will transfer to Limatambo, crossing the Anta mountain range. You will descend towards the Limatambo valley, after crossing the Willque overpass. Here you will enjoy stunning views of Salkantay Mountain, the second highest and one of the most beautiful in the region (6,272 m).

Near the city of Limatambo, you will take a dirt road until you finally reach Chonta. Throughout this section, you will have the opportunity to spot local birds while admiring the incredible scenery as you reach the canyon, so have your cameras ready for this part of the tour. Upon arrival, you will walk downhill for a short period to the main viewpoint, where you will enjoy a packed box lunch. You will stay here for approximately 2 hours observing nature and admiring the condors as you fly high over the Andes. You will then return to Chonta, moving to the Andean Spirit Lodge where you can relax and enjoy the lodge facilities.

You can enjoy the fire in the living room after a delicious vegetarian dinner.

Day 2Limatambo – Cusco City (B, BL)

Delight in the beauty of snow-capped Humantay!
We recommend getting up early to enjoy the impressive views of snow-capped Humantay. Here you can’t miss mornings immersed in nature, which include morning activities, walks along nearby trails, bird watching, Yoga and Meditation classes (all optional).

After a delicious breakfast, you will return to Cusco. Along the way, you will visit the mystical temple of Killarumiyoq, where you will enjoy a final packed lunch.
