From Cusco: City tour Cusco and Inca Trail to MaPi 6D/5N – Cusco, Peru

EXPERIENCE:

Day 01: City tour in Cusco

• Temple of the Sun or Qoricancha, the Cathedral, Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pukapukara and Tambomachay.
• Welcome and transfer from Cusco airport to the hotel and City Tour in Cusco
• Transfer from Cusco airport to the Hotel.

Day 02

• Start of the Inca Trail Machu Picchu from km 82, camp in Huayllabamba.
• We will be picking you up from your respective hotels between 6:30 and 7:00 a.m.
• leaving the city of Cusco at 7:30 am heading to the Ollantaytambo district.
• Then we will continue our journey towards Km. 82.
• After two hours we will arrive at the archaeological group of Llactapataa.
• Later we will continue with the walk through the Cusichacay valley, finally arriving at Huayllabamba, where we will spend the first night.

Day 03: Huayllabamba, Warmiwañusca and camp in Pacaymayo.

• Early, after breakfast, we will begin the most difficult and demanding part of the route, with an exhausting climb of three to four hours.
• At this point we can admire an impressive view of the entire Huayllabamba valley.
• After the ritual with the coca leaves we will be descending the mountain to reach Pacaymayo, where we will spend the second night in camp.

Day 04: Pacaymayo, Phuyupatamarca and camp in Wiñayhuayna.

• After breakfast, we will begin to ascend towards the second step of the Inca trail.
• Then we will descend the mountain to reach the third archaeological group.
• After a nap we will continue towards the Phuyupatamarca pass, from this place we will see the impressive Machupicchu mountain.
• We will arrive at the archaeological group of Phuyupatamarca.

Day 05: Wiñayhuayna, Machupicchu and return to Cusco.

• Very early at 4:00 a.m. We will have breakfast to start the walk to Machupicchu at 5:00 a.m.
• On the tour we will be able to see a diversity of flowers, the first point of view of the archaeological group of Machupicchu.
• We will descend the mountain and then arrive at the Machupicchu control.
• Finally you will have free time to explore the place and take the bus back to the town of Aguas Calientes.

Day 06: Transfer from the hotel in Cusco to the airport and farewell.

• Breakfast at the Hotel.
• Transfer from the Hotel to the Cusco airport.
• After having enjoyed breakfast at your hotel, you will be transferred to the Cusco airport.
