Begin your day with a pickup from your hotel in Cusco. Head towards Pallata, and make a short stop in Ollantaytambo, the former royal estate of the Inca Empire. Continue on to Pallata and begin your hike.

Starting at 3100 meters above sea level, this hike takes you through several ecological floors that display magnificent changes in the colors of the flora and fauna. Witness and experience the cloud forest phenomenon, where the humidity of the valley is retained causing it to drizzle all year.

At 3800 meters above sea level, arrive in Choquechaca. Meet the locals that live in this quaint town and learn about its traditions and culture. Then, enjoy a box lunch before heading back.

On your way back, take a detour to Pumamarca, the Inca archeological site with the largest number of platforms throughout the valley. Conclude your hike with a relaxing ride back to your hotel.
