|| From Cusco: Chinchero, Maras & Moray and Ollantaytambo || – Cusco, Peru

EXPERIENCE:

At 7:00 a.m., we will pick you up at your hotel in Cusco and set off to Chinchero, where we will arrive in just 40 minutes. In this village we will visit the church, which dates back to the 17th century and was one of the first Catholic buildings in Peru. Afterwards, we will contemplate an agricultural enclosure belonging to the Incas and also to the Killke culture. Welcome to the Sacred Valley!

Next, we will arrive in Maras to visit the peculiar archaeological site of Moray, watch out for its circular terraces! Afterwards, we will head to the northeast of the town to admire the famous salt mines, 3,000 salt wells from a natural spring. We will tell you about their ancestral legend!

With renewed energy, we will continue to Ollantaytambo, from where we will have magnificent views of the Valley of the Incas. We will walk through the cobblestone streets of this town that was an important enclave of the Inca Empire with a great ceremonial temple.
We will also visit the archaeological zone of Ollantaytambo and then we will conclude the excursion and we will leave you at the train station or at your hotel in Ollantaytambo.
