Start your tour on the private bus winding through a valley between high mountain ridges. Pass by small villages on the way up to Entrelagos viewpoint. From there, snap a photo of Lake Enol and Lake Ercina. The calm waters act as a mirror for the surrounding mountains.
Backtrack to the valley and nearby Covadonga Basilica. Outside the front doors, listen to your guide’s tales of local history. From there, follow along to the Santa Cueva de Covadonga. According to legend, King Pelayo hid there from his enemies. Now the cave holds his tomb.
