From Arequipa: The Sillar Route + Culebrillas Canyon – Arequipa, Peru

EXPERIENCE:

This excursion begins with pick up at your hotel in Arequipa at the indicated time.
We will take the road to Uchumayo until we reach the stone quarries, where we will have a guided tour to appreciate the work of the stonemasons.
The stones in this area have a special feature, they must only be worked by hand, otherwise they would break.
Afterwards, we will continue our trip to our next destination, the Culebrillas canyon, a place formed by nature itself.
Here we will be able to walk along its rocky walls which are between 15 and 20 meters high and you will be able to take some wonderful pictures. We will be able to see the millenary petroglyphs, engravings in rock whose meaning is a mystery.
At the end of our tour, we will return to the center of Arequipa. This excursion will end near the Plaza de Armas.
