EXPERIENCE

Departing from Freycinet Lodge, your dedicated guide begins your adventure by leading you over the spectacular Hazards mountain range to reach the Wineglass Bay Lookout, where you’ll be treated to awe-inspiring views of this iconic bay. Don’t forget to pose for a group photo, which your guide will capture to commemorate your journey. After soaking in the scenery, you’ll descend along a picturesque, Eucalypt-lined track to the pristine white sands of Wineglass Bay beach. Here, take a moment to relax and enjoy a hot drink and morning tea while surrounded by the breathtaking natural beauty that surrounds you.

Next, your exploration continues to the west of the peninsula, where you’ll discover the stunning Hazards Beach. As you traverse the shoreline (barefoot if you wish), learn about the unique wildlife that calls this area home and hear captivating stories about the history of its pink granite peaks. Dig into your backpack and enjoy a delicious packed picnic lunch, before taking leisurely strolls along the shore to search for hidden treasures and enjoying the serenity of the beach.

To cap off your adventure, conveniently board the Freycinet Aqua Taxi from your lunch location for a scenic journey back to Freycinet Lodge, offering a different perspective of the peninsula’s beauty from the water.
