Free Tour: Getting to know Buenos Aires through its theatrical history – Buenos Aires Province, Argentina

EXPERIENCE

We will tour the Buenos Aires downtown on foot through its most iconic theaters. We will start in Plaza Lavalle, where the National Institute of Theater Studies, the Cervantes Theater and the Colón Theater are located.

We will immerse ourselves in the origins of theatrical history starting from the Teatro de la Ranchería (1783-1792), we will learn about the beginnings of independent theater by getting involved in the vicissitudes of the Teatro del Pueblo, we will identify the commercial circuit crossing the emblematic Corrientes Avenue and finally we will stop in the city’s public theaters.
