We start our tour in true Italian style, ever heard of Aperitivo? We start our journey in a traditional food and wine bar, Via dei Neri, where you’ll see plenty of panini shops lined up along with cheese and cured meats. Pick up a few bites of ribollita, try bruschetta and sample on cold cuts, we wouldn’t be in Italy if it didn’t come alongside a good glass of Tuscan wine.

Then head over to the colorful bridge by the Arno River, Ponte Vecchio. Formerly a market to sell local fish and meat, it is mainly occupied with jewelers nowadays. Stroll past the area until you reach the popular Oltrarno area. Stop by an old winery and sip some of their delicious wines paired with their famous Tuscan Culurgiones and fried Ravioli’s. This is a great opportunity to buy a bottle to share with friends and family.

Time for the Grand Finale! Our third stop a local Trattoria where you’ll truly experience the taste of Tuscany. Alongside our guide you’ll enjoy a mouth-watering dinner with a plate of traditional Ribollita to start. Save some space for the second course, the famous Bistecca alla Fiorentina, which is considered the best steak in the world due to its unique cut. Lastly, conclude your evening with a digestivo – sampling delicious Cantucci biscuits dipped in Vin Santo is one of those things you have to try when in Florence, you’ll also learn how this regional liquor came to be.
