Programme We will meet at your hotel in Arequipa at the agreed time and transfer by minibus to the summit of the Pichu Pichu volcano. During the ascent, we will enjoy breathtaking views of the surroundings of this dormant volcano in the Cordillera Volcanica of southern Peru, which rises majestically to 5542 metres above sea level. At this point, we will change means of transport. We will put on our helmets and get on our bikes for a 30-kilometre descent full of surprises. For four hours we will pedal through the Pichu Pichu mountain range, releasing a good dose of adrenaline. During the descent, we will contemplate other volcanoes that surround Arequipa, such as Misti or Chachani, while our guide will tell us about the characteristics of the different species of flora and fauna that we will find on our way. With a bit of luck, we might even spot a llama or an alpaca. At the end of this exciting descent, we will meet up again with the minibus that will take us back to Arequipa, where we will end the excursion after five and a half hours of intense activity. Pick-up This tour includes pick-up service from hotels located in the heart of the historic centre of Arequipa. For those staying in more distant areas, we will provide an alternative meeting point once the reservation has been made.
