Excursion to Machu Picchu+Machu Picchu Mountain all included – Cusco Region, Peru

Itinerary
We will pick you up at your hotel in Cusco between 4:00 and 4:30 a.m. and head to Ollantaytambo station. At 5:40 a.m. the train will leave for Machu Picchu (timetable varies).

The one and a half hour train ride will be one of the most impressive parts of the excursion, as it is one of the most spectacular railway routes in the world. We will cross a natural scenery of unparalleled beauty that we will admire thanks to the glass ceiling.

When we arrive in Aguas Calientes, we will take a bus that will take us directly to Machu Picchu. Once there, the guide will show you the way to access the Machu Picchu Mountain. Did you know that it is more than 3000 meters high? At this point, you will ascend on your own up to 300 meters that will give you an enviable view of the citadel. Don’t forget your camera!

When we descend from the mountain, we will meet again and take a guided tour of the ruins of Machu Picchu. For two and a half hours we will walk in the footsteps of the Incas and the House of the Guardian will be one of the most amazing places we will see.

Finally, we will take the bus back to Aguas Calientes, where you will have free time to have lunch in one of its restaurants or visit the village’s handicraft market.

After the return trip by train, we will finish the excursion arriving at your hotel in Cusco at approximately 9:00 pm.
