Excursion to Cusco Machu Picchu in 7 days 6 nights – Cusco, Peru

EXPERIENCE:

DAY 1: PICK UP FROM THE AIRPORT – CUSCO CITY TOUR AFTERNOON

• Our transportation is waiting for you in Cusco at the airport to take you to your hotel.
•The city tour begins at 2:00 p.m. with pick-up from your hotel, the places to visit are Qoricancha, then we head towards the Qenco amphitheater, Pukapukara and finally Tambomachay.
• The tour ends near the main square of Cusco at 6:00 p.m.

DAY 2: SACRED VALLEY – AGUAS CALIENTES
•The tour begins between 7:30 to 8:00 hrs with pick-up at your hotel, then we head towards the Sacred Valley, the places are Pisaq, then we descend towards the town to appreciate textiles and jewelry.
•Then we go to Ollantaytambo.
•Then we go to the train station to board the train to Machu Picchu ( Aguas Calientes Town)

DAY 3: MACHUPICCHU – CUSCO
•The day begins with breakfast at the hotel, then we board a bus to get to Machupicchu. Upon arrival we will have a guided tour of about three hours and enough time to take photos.
•In the afternoon we return from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo, then transportation to Cusco to drop you off at your hotel.

DAY 4: HUMANTAY LAGOON
•The tour begins between 4:30 to 5:00 hrs with pickup from your hotel, then we head to Mollepata on a 2h30min trip.
•We will continue our trip until we reach Soraypampa (3,900masl), once we arrive we will begin the walk for 1h40min to the Humantay Lagoon (4,200masl)
•Upon arrival we will enjoy the landscape offered by the snow-capped Humantay, as well as have time to take photographs.
•Then we will return to Soraypampa where mobility awaits us to return to Mollepata and then we will return to Cusco.

DAY 5: SALT MINES OF MARAS – MORAY
•The tour begins between 8:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. with pick-up from your hotel, then we head towards the Sacred Valley, to see the circular terraces of Moray, which is considered an Inca laboratory.
•Then we head to the salt mines of Maras, where we will than 3,000 salt mine pools. We will also have time to buy the different types of salt that they make from the residents.
•Finally we will return to Cusco arriving at 2:30 p.m.

DAY 6: RAINBOW MOUNTAIN
•The tour begins with pick-up from your hotel between 4:30 and 5:00 a.m., to head south of Cusco until we reach Cusipata, wherw we have breakfast, then we continue our trip until we reach a community called Phulawasipata, and we will begin the walk towards the Rainbow Mountain (5,080m), for 1h40min
•Upon arriving, we will have enough time for the information part and photographs.
•Then we will return to Phulawasipata where transportation is waiting for us to return to Cusipata and finally we will return to Cusco.
•The tour ends at approximately 17:00

DAY 7: TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT
•Transportation to the airport depending on the time of your trip.
