Etna excursions at sunset, caves and craters – Sicily, Italy

For anyone holidaying Sicily, visiting the beautiful site of Etna, one of the most active volcanoes in the world, is a must. How much better could this visit be if you could be accompanied by expert and passionate nature guides who can explain about the volcano and its geology.

? Appointment in the afternoon (the time may vary depending on the sunset) in our pick up point in Catania.

? after driving through the typical Etna villages, we will arrive at our first stop, where we will visit a lava tube with helmets and torches.

? Second Stop: visit of a side crater with breathtaking views of Catania and the Etna villages.

? Third stop: walk through the paths of Etna crossing, old lava fields and a vertical cave of Etna. Walk length about 2.5 km. Easy level, walk suitable for everyone, even for families with children. Here we will wait for sunset.

On average, the tour lasts 5 hours, including car trip.
