Explore the city through riddles and puzzles, creating an outdoor escape room experience! This self-guided tour allows you to start playing anytime, at your convenience. Utilize the smartphone app as your guide to unravel the intriguing storyline in Deventer, where you’ll assist the mayor and his brothers in preventing the city from being destroyed.

Embark on an immersive Deventer adventure, set in the year 1672. Deventer faces an imminent attack by a French and German army led by the Bishop of Munster. The mayor and his brothers, who hold seats on the city council, must make critical decisions to save the city. Scattered throughout the city center are clues that will aid them in this dire situation. Can you and your team help the brothers prevent the city from being destroyed within two hours? Immerse yourself in this historical Xperience and become part of the intrigue in 17th-century Deventer.

Throughout the game, you’ll explore 20 locations, encompassing both renowned attractions and hidden gems of the city. Please note that the game is currently only available in Dutch.

To play the game you need to download the free app ‘Loquiz’. After completing your booking you will first receive an automatic confirmation from Get Your Guide. Escape Xperience will email you your login details and starting instructions (for the amount of teams participating), from address: info@escape-xperience.nl.
The Escape Xperience is played in a team of up to 4 people. If you are looking to book for more than 4 people, you will receive a username and password for each team participating.
1-4 players: 1 team
