As we navigate the streets of Dodoma, we will pass by the Parliament of Tanzania, offering insights into the government’s structure and a brief history of its relocation from Dar es Salaam to Dodoma.

Continuing our journey, we will visit the headquarters of Tanzania’s parastatals. Here, you will witness firsthand the strategic arrangement of various government service organisations, all conveniently located on a single street. Be amazed by the presence of NBS, NHIF, PURA, TANESCO, EURA, REA, Road Fund, Tume ya Uchaguzi, and more.

Driving along the four-lane road in Iyumbu, we will connect to the Dar es Salaam highway, leading us to the remarkable Government City, now known as Magufuli City—a unique concept in Africa. As we explore this city in Mtumba, you will learn about its history and vision, which unites all ministries of Tanzania and embassies under one roof, facilitating seamless service coordination. We will observe the ongoing construction projects and marvel at the well-planned infrastructure during our pleasant ride through the city.

After immersing ourselves in the Government City, we will continue our journey along the Dar es Salaam highway, heading to Chamwino to visit the State House. En route, we will share fascinating stories about Dodoma’s journey to becoming the capital of Tanzania and the selection of Chamwino as the site for the State House. Upon arrival, admire the picturesque greenery surrounding the village as we catch a glimpse of the new State House from the outside. We may take some time to explore the charming town of Chamwino before we return to the city.

Concluding our tour, we will drive back to the city, where we will enjoy a delicious lunch together. Finally, we will drop you off at your hotel, leaving you with lasting memories of this captivating journey through Tanzania’s bureaucracy.
