Cuzco: Full day guided tour of Machu Picchu by train – Cusco Region, Peru

EXPERIENCE

MACHUPICCHU FULL DAY:

Early in the morning we will pick you up from your hotel at 4:00 am to take a bus from Cusco to Ollantaytambo station where we will be arriving at approximately 6:00 am to board our train to Aguas Calientes town (Machu Picchu).

Upon arrival at the train station in Aguas Calientes, our guide will be waiting for you with a sign with your name to coordinate and direct us to the bus station, where we will take the bus to the sanctuary of Machu Picchu (30 minutes approx.).

upon arrival at the sanctuary of machupicchu your guide will take you directly to the best place to take pictures and show you the main sectors of the citadel for a total of 2 hours. during this guided tour, you will learn more about the history and culture of the inca empire. after the visit we will return to the town of aguas calientes where you will have time to have lunch at the restaurant of your choice. in the afternoon we will take the train back from aguas calientes to ollantaytambo, the trip takes approximately 2 hours. in ollantaytambo our staff will be waiting for you, to take you back to cusco by bus. the bus trip to cusco takes approximately 2 hours and we will drop you off at your hotel in cusco.
