Cusco: South Valley | Tipon – Pikillaqta | – Cusco, Peru

EXPERIENCE:

The main point of this circuit is the chapel of Andahuaylillas, which exhibits some beautiful colonial works of art, from its gold leaf altars to its paintings and murals.
We will start by picking you up at your hotel between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m. (hotel in the historic center of the city).
Our first stop will be the archaeological center of Tipon, the most important example of Inca hydraulic engineering.
We will continue our tour visiting the archaeological center of Pikillaqta, a sample of a great civilization such as the Wari.
Finally, to close with a flourish we will visit the temple of Andahuaylillas, where we will be able to contemplate its beautiful baroque style paintings adorned with gold leaf.
On the way back to the historical center we will pass through Saylla where we will be able to taste the magnificent flavors of chicharron, a typical dish made of pork meat (optional). We will finish with a transfer to your hotel.
