Cusco: Short Inca Trail to Machu Picchu 2D/1N – Cusco, Peru

EXPERIENCE:

Inca Trail

Day 1 : Cusco – KM 104 – Machu Picchu – Aguas Calientes
We will pick you up from your hotel around 4:00 am. We will go to the train station, we will board the train around 6:00 am. to Km 104 of the railway where we will pass through the checkpoint and start our trek.

On the way you will enjoy spectacular views, after walking for three hours, we will arrive at the archaeological complex of Wiñaywayna (Eternally young), where you will have time to explore the site. Here you can enjoy lunch, then we will continue walking for 2 hours until we reach the Intipunku Sun Gate, from where you will have a spectacular view of Machu Picchu, we will continue walking and descend to the town of Aguas Calientes where you will spend the night in the hotel and enjoy a delicious dinner.

Day 2 : Machu Picchu

We will wake up early and enjoy a delicious breakfast at the hotel, then we will head to the bus station to go to Machu Picchu, where you will have a two and a half hour guided tour around the Inca City. After our guided tour you will have free time to explore on your own.

Then we will return to Aguas Calientes, where we will have lunch.
We will return by train to Ollantaytambo and take it back to Cusco.
End of our service.
