Day 1: Cusco – Soraypampa – Humantay Lake – Salkantay Pass
We will begin the adventure by picking up participants at their hotel (located near or within the historic center) around 4:30 a.m. We will travel to Mollepata to enjoy breakfast and then go to Soraypampa, where horses will be waiting for us to transport our luggage.
We will begin a hike uphill to the Humantay Lagoon. After our visit, we will descend again to Soraypampa and then to the Salkantay Pass camp, where we will spend the night. Upon arrival, we will enjoy a delicious lunch.

Day 2: Salkantay Pass – Wuayracmachay – Chaullay camp
We will wake up early to have breakfast and prepare for the most demanding day of the trek. We will reach an altitude of 4630 meters and walk 20 km.
We will hike for approximately 3 hours to the Salkantay pass, the highest point of our trek. We will perform a small Andean ritual for the Apus, the gods of the mountains, asking for protection for our journey.
Then, we will continue for 2 hours to the lunch spot, where we will enjoy spectacular landscapes and Andean flora and fauna. Afterwards, we will descend for 3 hours to our second campsite in Chaullay, where we will spend the night.
Day 3: Chaullay – Santa Teresa – Hydroelectric – Aguas Calientes
We will wake you up at 6:00 a.m. to have breakfast and prepare your things. At 7:00 a.m., we will start the hike to Sahuayaco beach. From there, you will take local transportation to Santa Teresa for lunch.
Afterwards, you will travel by car for 45 minutes to Hidroeléctrica. From there, you will walk for 3 hours along the train tracks until you reach the town of Aguas Calientes, where you will spend the night.

Day 4: Machu Picchu – Cusco
We will start the day early with a nutritious breakfast. Then, we will walk from the village to the checkpoint at the Bridge of the Ruins, where you will have to show your passport and your entrance to Machu Picchu. Once you pass the checkpoint, you will climb stairs for approximately 1 hour to the main gate of Machu Picchu, where we will arrive before 6:00 am.
We will enjoy a guided tour of approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, with time to explore and take pictures. After the visit, we will return to the village for lunch on your own. In the afternoon, you will head to the station to take the train back to Ollantaytambo, and from there, take a bus to Cusco.
