Cusco: Private Southern Valley & Huasao Groot Tour – Cusco, Peru

EXPERIENCE:

Pick you up from accommodation in Cusco around 07:30am. The first place we will see will be Tipón, This was a sacred place where water was worshiped. Tipón was distinguished for being a marvel of hydraulic engineering. Continue the tour visiting one of the administrative centers during the power of the Wari kingdom, the city of Pikillaqta which has a very harmonious and impressive geometric design. It is considered a representation of the territorial ordering of that time.

The journey to the beautiful Church of Andahuaylillas, little jewel of the Colonial period, also known as ‘The Sistine of America’, inside which is an impressive collection of canvases with gold plated frames and mural paintings, baroque altarpieces , and more. Likewise we can appreciate the famous pentalingue door.

The end the tour visiting the Huasao Wetland (Huasao Groot), a place where you can appreciate natural spaces that were rescued and put into value, here you can see different sculptures made by artists from the Diego Quispe Ttito University, have the opportunity to enjoy the sculptures of movie characters that measure approximately between 1 and 3 meters in height. We will end the tour at around 3:00 p.m.
