Cusco – Machu Picchu 3 Days + Hotel 4* Private Tour – Cusco, Peru

Machupicchu is one of the 7 wonders of the world and surprises many tourists who go to visit it, but Cusco besides this world wonder also has other archaeological sites which you can enjoy on this tour and transport you to the Inca era.

Day 1 – transfer from the airport – Cusco city tour
– On the first day we will pick you up from the airport to take you to your respective hotel where you can rest before starting the first tour.
– First, we will pick you up at 1.00 pm from your respective hotels near the historical centre of Cusco. It is worth mentioning that the trip lasts approximately 5 hours.
– Our first stop is the Qoricancha Temple, before heading to the Sacsayhuaman Archaeological Centre which was a wonderful example of Inca military architecture.
– To continue the tour we will visit the Archaeological Centre of Qenqo, a ceremonial centre built on a unique limestone outcrop, where we can visit the Metro Gallery and the Chamber of Sacrifices.
– Then we will visit the Red Fort at Pukapukala, the red fort here is characterised by its military architecture composed of large walls, stairways and terraces.
– Finally we will visit the fortress of Tambomachay, this archaeological site is characterized by the main waterfall known as the “Baths of the Inca” because of the channel, it consists of an aqueduct through which water flows, so in Inca times it was a ceremonial centre dedicated to the worship of water.
– Finally we return to the city of Cusco around 18.30 hours.

Day 2 – Machu Picchu Castle
– The day tour to Machu Picchu begins with pick up from your hotel in the historic centre of Cusco at 4:00 am.
– We then board your vehicle to take the train. Once at the station, we board the tourist train to Machu Picchu Pueblo, the travel time is approximately 2 hours.
– Upon arrival at Machu Picchu Pueblo train station, our Chullos Travel Peru representative will be waiting for you with a sign with your name on it to coordinate all the last details before your trip.
– Then you will be transferred to the Consetur bus station and board a bus to the entrance gate of Machu Picchu for a tour of the citadel of Machu Picchu, where you can appreciate the main attractions in at least 2 hours and 30 minutes.
– Continuing with the tour we will return to Machu Picchu Pueblo for lunch. You will have enough time to visit most of Machu Picchu and its picturesque village.
– Finally we will return to Cuzco. Then we will go to the train station 30 minutes before to take our respective trains to Ollantaytambo and then back to Cusco city with an estimated time of arrival at 8:30 pm.

Day 3 – Free morning – Transfer to Cusco airport.
– This day you will enjoy your free time in the morning to rest and relax, and finally in the afternoon you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Lima.
