EXPERIENCE:

Day 1
We start the tour with the pick up from the hotel at 6:00 a.m. We will make a stop after approximately an hour in the town of Ollantaytambo where you can have breakfast on your own and make the last purchases, then we will continue in the mobility for approximately one more hour until we reach the Abra Málaga (4316 masl) where We will start the descent by bicycle, after two hours of travel we will make a stop at the archaeological center of Huamanmarka where we will finish the tour with the bicycles and the guide will explain details about this place for 10 minutes.
Afterwards, our Peruvian Amazonia will begin through fruit fields and rivers, it will also experience the change from cold to tropical climate.
Then we will go towards Santa María where we will have our first lunch. In the afternoon they will have the option of doing rafting on the Vilcanota River for a total of 1 hour.
Overnight Santa Maria.

Day 2:
We will start walking towards Waka Yupana for approximately 5 hours, the first 2 hours the walk will be easy until the beginning of the trail that goes uphill for 2 hours, we will pass through fields of coca, coffee and tropical fruits of the area. Later we will have one of the most impressive views of Wankar Q’asa canyon. Then we will descend for 1 hour to Waka Yupana where our transport awaits us to go to Santa Teresa where we will enjoy a lunch.
In the afternoon we will do the Zip Line (2 hours), After our Zip Line experience we will go to the Cocal Mayo Thermal Baths to relax the whole body (optional).
Dinner and overnight in Santa Teresa.

Day 3
Breakfast will be approx. At 5:30 am. We will take local transportation for 45 minutes to Lucmabamba where we will explore the tropical forest and organic coffee where you will have the opportunity to try freshly brewed coffee, then we will continue the walk to Llactapata along a trail that will connect with Machu Picchu for approximately 2 hours and 50 minutes. We will continue our 2-hour downhill walk. On this part of the path you can always see Machu Picchu until you reach the Hidroeléctrica train station for lunch. After lunch we will arrive at the train tracks (Hydroelectric) that leads to the town of Aguas Calientes (3 hours walk).
Overnight stay in Aguas Calientes.

Day 4
In the morning at 4:00 am we start the walk to Machu Picchu. They will be provided with a packed breakfast and we will start the 30-minute walk to the Puente Ruinas checkpoint, followed by going up the stairs for 1 hour to reach the main gate of Machu Picchu. Once in Machu Picchu, the guide will show us the main sectors of the citadel for 2 and a half hours learning about the history and culture of the Inca empire.
At the end of the visit, we will return to Aguas Calientes where they will have lunch on their own and wait for the train’s departure time. The train journey takes 2 hours to Ollantaytambo, where they will transfer to the bus of the same company that will take them to Cusco. .
