Cusco: Full day-Tour Machu Picchu & Huchuypicchu Mountain – Cusco, Peru

EXPERIENCE:

1. Cusco – Ollantaytambo
The tour starts with the pick-up from your hotel (historical center of Cusco) at 4:00 a.m., then we´ll board our transportation and head to the train station in the town of Ollantaytambo for 2 hours approx.
2. Ollantaytambo Train Station
Once located at the train station we can find 2 companies Inca Rail and Peru Rail that operate the route Ollantaytambo – Machupicchu town (round trip). We will board the tourist train to Machupicchu town (Aguas Calientes), the travel time is approx. 2 hours.
3. Machupicchu town
Once you arrive at the train station in Machupicchu town our representative of Chullos Travel will be waiting for you with a sign with your name, to coordinate all the final details before the tour.
You´ll be transfer to the Consettur bus station to board the bus to the entrance gate of Machu Picchu, with a duration of 30 minutes. From here the guide will show us the way to access the Huchuypicchu mountain, You´ll have two and a half hours to walk around this mountain then we´ll descend and meet again to visit the ruins of Machu Picchu.
Once the tour is finished, we´ll return in the same transportation to Machupicchu town, our guide will indicate the place of the restaurant where you can enjoy a delicious lunch. You´ll also have enough time to visit a large part of Machupicchu town (a small and picturesque village).
4. Return to Cusco
According to the established time of return to Ollantaytambo, we´ll go 30 minutes before to the train station to board our respective train to Ollantaytambo (2 hrs approx.); the mobility will be waiting for your arrival for the respective transfer to return to the city of Cusco, the time of arrival is at 8:30 p.m. approx.
