Cusco : Experiential tourism in Chinchero – Cusco, Peru

EXPERIENCE:

We will pick you up from your hotel in the historic centre of Cusco at approximately 8:00 am. We will go to the town of Chinchero which will be our first point, we will have a visit to the archaeological centre of Chinchero and transfer to a small community where you will have a very pleasant reception with traditional music and typical costumes of the place.

We will participate in the activity of Agrotourism, identifying the instruments and tools that are used for this activity. We will also have a walk to the places of cultivation and we will participate in an offering to the Pachamama. We continue our walk until we reach the viewpoint and we will have an incredible view of the Piuray lagoon, we will learn more about its myths and legends. We will have free time where we will enjoy a delicious lunch prepared with local products, learn about the traditional weaving skills and natural dyes of the local women and enjoy a participatory space with the local people.

Finally we will say goodbye to our hosts and return to the city of Cusco.
