Cusco: Day Trip to Lake Humantay and Salkantay + Meals – Cusco Region, Peru

EXPERIENCE

Our tour begins with pickup at Plaza Regocijo. You will then enjoy a 2-hour scenic drive to the village of Mollepata, where a light breakfast will prepare you for the hike ahead. Afterwards, you will continue to Soraypampa, the starting point of the hike. From there, you will undertake a steep 1.5-hour climb to the sacred Humantay Lagoon, with the option of horseback riding if you prefer. At the top, you will be able to appreciate the significance of this sacred Inca site and its mythology, while enjoying the stunning alpine views. Recharge with a delicious lunch in Mollepata and end the day with the return to Cusco.
