Cusco: 6-Day Tour with Machu Picchu and Rainbow Mountain – Cusco Region, Peru

EXPERIENCE

DAY 1: Pick up from airport + City Tour cusco
Our TOP INKA TRAVEL team will be waiting for you at the Cusco airport to take you to your hotel (check in 11AM).
To make the City Tour, we will start with the pick up at your hotel around 13:40 pm and then go to the Temple of Qoricancha, then the transport will pick us up to go to the upper part of Cusco and visit the archaeological complex of Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pukapukara and Tambomachay. Our trip will end at 18:00 pm at the Plaza de Armas.

DAY 2: Sacred Valley Vip with connection
We will start with the pick up at your hotel at 6:40 am then we will visit the archaeological complex of Chinchero, Moray, Salineras de Maras at noon we will enjoy a buffet lunch and finally we will visit the archaeological complex of Ollantaytambo. After the visit we will go to the Ollantaytambo train station to board the train that will take us to the town of Machupichu. Upon arrival the transfer will be waiting to take us to the hotel.

DAY 3: Machupicchu
Early we will meet with the guide to take the Consettur bus and go up to the Sanctuary of Machupicchu and start the visit of about 2 hours and 30 minutes. After the visit we will return to the village of Machupicchu to board the train and return to the city of Cusco. At the station our transportation will be waiting for you to take you to your hotel.

DAY 4: Colored Mountain
We will start with the pick up at your hotel at 4:30 am, then we will go to the village of Cusipata and taste our delicious breakfast. We will continue our trip for an hour to Chilliwañi, here we will start our hike to the viewpoint of the mountain for about 1 hour and 30 minutes. You will have time to take pictures and listen to the guide’s explanation. Afterwards we will return to the transportation to Cusipata to enjoy our lunch and return to Cusco city, we will be arriving at 17:00 Pm approx.

DAY 5: Humantay Lagoon
This day we will start with the pick up from your hotel at 4:30 am to go to the town of Mollepata to enjoy our delicious breakfast. Then we will travel to Soraypampa where we will start our hike. We will walk an average of 1 h and 30 m at a brisk pace until we reach the Humantay lagoon (4200 masl). When we arrive our guide will give us an explanation about the lagoon and we will have time to take pictures. Then we will return by the same way to the transport that will take us to Mollepata to enjoy our buffet lunch. Our tour will be ending at an average of 18:00 pm at the Plaza de Armas.

DAY 6: Transfer to the airport
This day after breakfast at the hotel at the indicated time the transfer will pass by our hotel to drive us to the airport and board the plane to the city of Lima, check-out from the hotel is at 10 am (you can leave your luggage until the time of departure).
