Cusco 3 days: Maras- Moray, Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu – Cusco, Peru

Itinerary:

Day 1: Maras – Moray Tour:

Pick up will be approximately at 08:30 hrs. from your hotel to begin the tour of Maras Moray, you will go by bus to the archaeological attraction of Moray.
On the way you will make a stop in the town of Chinchero where you can visit a textile center.
After Chinchero, the transport will go to the archaeological park of Moray.
Then you will go to the Maras salt mines. Completing the tour you will return to the city of Cusco to rest after this pleasant experience.

Day 2: Sacred Valley of the Incas Tour:

Pick up will be from your hotel at 07:30 to begin the tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, you will go by bus to Pisac where you will visit the Inca citadel of Pisac located at the top of the mountain.
Then we will descend by bus to the typical Pisac market, where Cusco crafts made by Andean hands are exhibited, here you can make some purchases at a good price.
Later you go to the City of Urubamba, where you will enjoy a buffet lunch.
In the afternoon you visited the Fortress and Citadel of Ollantaytambo. Ollantaytambo would have been a Tambo or accommodation city and a fortress built to guard the entrance to this part of the valley and protect it from possible invasions by jungle people.
Then you will go to the archaeological site of Chinchero, made up of a beautiful colonial church that was built on the foundations of an Inca temple, it is a magical place, located in the town of Chinchero.
Finally we will return to the city of Cusco. Approximate arrival time 07:00 p.m.

Day 3: Tour to Machu Picchu by train:

Pick up will be from the hotel in Cusco at 04:00 AM and you will be transported to the Ollantaytambo train station (car trip of approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes). [If the train leaves from Poroy the car trip is 30 minutes, then take a 3 and a half hour train trip.]
Once at the Ollantaytambo station you will board the train to go to the town of Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town). Upon arriving in Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town), the agency staff will be waiting for you to give you all the instructions, then you will go to the bus station, where you will board the bus that will take you to the mountain where Machu Picchu is located (30 minutes by bus).
When you get off the bus you will go to the entrance of Machu Picchu, where you must present your tickets and respective identification documents. You will visit the main sites of the city with the tour guide who will provide you all the information and history of Machu Picchu for approximately 2 hours.
At the appropriate time you must take the bus back to the town of Aguas Calientes where you can enjoy lunch in one of the restaurants and optionally you can visit the hot springs of Aguas Calientes (entrance not included).
At the agreed time you will take the return train from Aguas Calientes, a 2-hour trip to Ollantaytambo, where the car will be waiting to transport you to the city of Cusco.
