At 8:45 in the morning, Córdoba s touristy streets are peacefully quiet, offering the perfect backdrop for capturing the city’s cool architecture and vibrant cultural mix. While stores don’t open until 10 am, Spanish culture thrives early, with locals grabbing coffee and tostadas as early as 7 am so you won t go hungry.

We ll start and finish at Plaza de las Tendillas*. Afterward you can relax with goodies from Carrefour Express or a ¬2.50 cappuccino at Café Tendillas 5. Ask for Café con Leche (their foamy capp version). They even offer soy milk just ask for “leche de soya” or “soja.”

Prefer your coffee on ice in summer? ‘Con hielo, por favor.’ Stir in your sugar and pour it over ice for a refreshing treat.
