Coaching road to Bath – Somerset, United Kingdom

EXPERIENCE:

After leaving London we join the old coaching road to Bath over the gin clear waters of the river Kennet by way of the ancient market towns of Hungerford and Marlborough.

At Avebury we will walk around the Stones, as old as the ones at Stonehenge, where we will find out more of this colossal site.

A drive through some lovely thatched villages takes us down to the medieval wool town of Lacock. After a walk through the town we head off to the Georgian city of Bath to see some of its splendid buildings and an opportunity, if requested, to visit the Roman Baths.
