EXPERIENCE

Spend a half day discovering the hidden gems of historic Clarskburg, with history dating back to the 1780 s on this guided wine tasting experience.

You begin the day at the renowned winery Bogle Family Vineyards, where farming goes back six generations. There you will be greeted by your guide and a glass of sparkling wine while you take in the stunning Chardonnay vineyards surrounding the tasting room. You will then be treated to an exclusive tasting of Clarksburg quintessential grapes; Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay and Petite Sirah. A palate cleansing snack will accompany this tasting along with stories and anecdotes about the Bogle family and their history in the valley.

After a short, scenic drive up the river road you will visit one of Clarksburg s finest wineries, Julietta Winery, helmed by woman winemaker, Julie, to enjoy a farm to table lunch with views of vineyards, blooming roses and wandering chickens.

Another short drive and you will experience another hidden treasure, the family owned Silt Winery in Clarksburg. You will enjoy a private guided tasting of their award winning estate wines, accompanied by a tasting plate of cheeses, salami, chocolate and other goodies.
