  • Anywhere

EXPERIENCE

Hotel pick up 08.00-08.30 // drop off 17:30-18:00
Take in the beautiful scenery of Northern Thailand on the drive (about 1.5 h) to visit an ethical elephant sanctuary located in the jungle region of Mae Taeng. Learn about the rescued Asian elephants and how to safely feed and interact with them: walk with them in their jungle habitat where you can observe their natural behaviours such as foraging for their favourite foods and scratching on trees. After, enjoy a delicious Thai lunch.
Take a short drive to the start of a trek (<1 h) to visit the impressive 30 m high waterfall. Here you can relax in the cool mountain water (40 min) before trekking back to your transport. Next, it is off to the Mae Taeng River, considered to be the best white water rafting in Northern Thailand: following a safety briefing and instructions, the experience will cover about 5 km of the river. Drive back to your chosen hotel in Chiang Mai.
