Capri: Island Boat Tour and Optional Blue Grotto Visit - Campania, Italy
  • Anywhere

EXPERIENCE:

Experience the majestic beauty of Capri by boat on a trip around the entire coast, and marvel at the caves that line the shore along with other natural features. You can choose to depart in the morning on a boat scheduled to arrive at the Blue Grotto before 13:00, when the lines can be very long.

Take advantage of non-stop departures every 30 minutes from Pier 21 in the Marina Grande, and then cruise across the sparkling waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea. Pass iconic attractions, such as Tiberius’s Leap where, according to legend, disobedient servants and undesired guests at the Villa Jovis were hurled over the cliff on the orders of Emperor Tiberius.

See the stone arch of Arco Naturale, dating from the Paleolithic age, and pass the iconic Faraglioni rock formations before your arrival at the Blue Grotto. To visit the sea cave, board the small wooden rowboat and pay the additional €15 entrance fee. The visit is optional, and the lines can sometimes be as long as 2 hours.

Along the way, benefit from the services of an English-speaking skipper – some also speak French and Spanish.
