Your guide will accompany you to the 11th century Church of St Bene’t where townsfolk have been worshipping since it was built in 1030. Nearby is the famous Eagle Pub with its RAF bar where young airmen wrote their squadron numbers on the ceiling during the Second World War. Finish outside the old Cavendish Laboratory where 29 Nobel Prizes were won and where modern physics was invented.
