EXPERIENCE

The day begins with pickup from the meeting points in Cairns and heads off to Cape Tribulation, where the world’s oldest living rainforest meets the Great Barrier Reef. Start the tour with a boat cruise in search of North Queensland’s famous saltwater crocodiles.

Next, cross the Daintree River on the ferry followed by a drive through the oldest rainforest in the world. Don’t forget to keep a look out for cassowaries, also known as the dinosaur bird. Once you’ve worked up an appetite, grab some lunch and hit the beach. Enjoy free time to laze on the golden shore, admire epic sea views, and soak up the glorious Australian sunshine.

Afterwards, cool off from the heat with a swim in a freshwater stream, then travel to Port Douglas. Go for a stroll and a swim at the famous Four Mile Beach, then hop onboard the bus to begin the return journey to Cairns. Stop at two scenic lookouts along the way and listen to some upbeat tunes as you head back to civilization.
