Cahuita: ECOFISH project to the artisanal fishing community – Limón Province, Costa Rica

EXPERIENCE

This is a unique boat tour that includes Fishing + Snorkel in Cahuita

The artisanal fishing experience with the natives in Cahuita is the perfect excursion to do during a day near the Cahuita National Park in which you will learn different fishing techniques, learn about the ecosystem, and how to cook a typical fried fish lunch, plantains and salad at the home of the native fishermen.

Time and place of departure:
7:00 am – Pick up at hotels in Cahuita area.
Time and place of return:
12:00 pm – Cahuita National Park

This makes for particularly varied days on the water. But there are also a few surprises waiting for you on land. While you enjoy the end of the day in your quiet lodge in the middle of the breathtaking jungle, some exotic animals like to drop in on you.

Varied fishing thanks to a great variety of species and fishing methods (poppers, stickbaits, livebait, trolling)

Fishing tackle included. You can use all the equipment when fishing: hooks, lines, baits/lures, rods, reels, floats, sinkers/feeders, nets, spears, gaffs and traps, as well as wires, snaps, beads, spoons, blades, spinners, clevises …
