Cagliari: Canyoning in Sardinia – Sardinia, Italy

EXPERIENCE:

Rio Zairi is located in the territory of Gonnosfanadiga, in the south of Sardinia, set in the millennial granite collecting the waters of various streams in the area. This is an entertaining Entry Level: journey full of emotions but still accessible to anyone who wants to try it for the first time. It starts with a small 6-meter slope and continues along the riverbed between waterfalls and fun slides. It is a perfect path to the Canyoning approach, also suitable for younger adventurers. The path/activity is ideal for people (aged eight years and over) with regular physical training.

NoWhere Exclusive Experience – This option will allow you to discover The Gutturu Mannu National Park. It is a canyoning path developed at the farthest point from the towns within the Gutturu Mannu Park. You will drive a powerful 450cc quad bike to reach the heart of the forest, or if you prefer to sit and relax, choose the jeep tour option. We will leave in the morning from Domus de Maria in the direction of Is Cannoneris National Park, and after about 90 minutes, we will arrive at the canyon. Here you will be overwhelmed by the immaculate green and the sound of waterfalls that dig the hardest granite. The canyon sequence of the verticals is 12 meters dry, 15 meters wet, 15 meters wet, 10 meters toboggan and 20 meters zip line. Once finished, we will climb on a path that, in 10 minutes, will take us to the forest, where we will enjoy a typical picnic. The total duration is about 6/7 hours.

Quad bike guidelines: Drivers must have a valid driver’s license to drive the quad bikes (photos or pdf are not accepted), guests who don’t show their driver’s license can’t join the group, and no refund will be due.
Subject to weather conditions. Excursions will also be done in case of rain; please bring some spare clothes in case you get wet; if the weather gets worse (heavy rain with thunders and lightning) after the tour has started, it will be canceled without a refund. Please note the excursion is not guaranteed until you pass a driving test for the vehicle, which will be performed in the presence of your guide before the excursion. The guide, after giving you the necessary instructions, will evaluate with a practical test whether the drivers can drive the vehicle safely. Suppose the driver doesn’t pass the driving test. In that case, the excursion will be canceled, and the amount paid will be partially refunded except for extra services such as the return transfer and Viator commissions, which will not be refunded. Guests who have not passed the test and have booked the pickup will still be taken back but will have to wait for the end of the excursion if the guide is also busy with other guests.
Please be aware that beyond the time limit of the cancellation policy, it is not possible to amend or cancel bookings in any way, including health conditions. The only exception for changing dates is only with a positive certificate of Sars Covid 2.
The forerunner guide can consider suspending the excursion without a refund in the event of inappropriate behavior.
Our tours are led with the professionalism; we pay extreme attention to details and the safety of the participants. Anyway, even doing our best, there is always a small percentage of risk that depends on the driver. Please be aware that our insurance covers only third parties. Damages to the Quads are not included and must be paid for by the guest before returning to the meeting point. A credit card is mandatory. The worst scenario for Quad damages could be €8.000,00. For peace of mind during your tour, we suggest buying hire insurance to protect yourself against collisions and accidental damages.
