Buenos Aires: Puerto Madero Tour For Small Groups - Buenos Aires Province, Argentina
  • Anywhere

EXPERIENCE

We will explore the entire dock area with its attractions, including the old port warehouses built with English bricks, now home to magnificent restaurants and the prestigious Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina (UCA).

We will see the Sarmiento Frigate, once a training ship for many generations of midshipmen of the Argentine Navy, now a wonderful museum (though we do not plan to enter). We will admire the Women’s Bridge, which represents tango culture, and enjoy panoramic views of the tallest and most modern buildings in the city, contrasting with the old port buildings and machinery.

Then we will head to the area of plazas and gardens, and finally arrive at the ecological reserve, offering stunning city views, birdwatching opportunities, and various animal species. On the way out, we will admire the Fountain of the Nereids, created by Argentine sculptor Lola Mora, and conclude our tour at the plaster cast museum.
