EXPERIENCE

After being picked up in the morning from your centrally located Buenos Aires hotel, we’ll head to the Abasto neighborhood, home to the Carlos Gardel Museum. Known for being Gardel’s home, this neighborhood is brimming with the spirit of Tango and will make you feel like a part of Buenos Aires.

On board a comfortable, air-conditioned car, you’ll delve into the history of Tango, its evolution within Buenos Aires, and its integral role in Porteño culture. We’ll pass by famous corners as well as some traditional bars, where you’ll learn more about their significance in Tango culture.

Next, we’ll head south to the neighborhood of La Boca, one of the city’s oldest districts, settled by European immigrants arriving by boat in the early 20th century. Due to its proximity to the river, immigrants faced issues with dampness and would paint their houses with whatever they could find to prevent moisture. This practice made the neighborhood famous, and the colorful streets of La Boca are renowned worldwide.

We’ll stroll along Caminito, its main street, to uncover its history and traditions. Then, for those interested, you can access La Bombonera and explore the museum (optional).

As the heart of the city’s football tradition, La Boca is not only imbued with its spirit but also with the history and traditions of Buenos Aires itself.

Finally, after a 4-hour guided tour, you’ll be returned to the city center.
