EXPERIENCE

Head to the wharf and board the ferry at your selected time. Then, set out on your journey towards Georges Island, part of the Boston Harbor Islands National and State Park.

Once on the island, delve into the history of the Civil War-era Fort Warren, enjoy a leisurely picnic, take a walk along one of the island’s many walking trails and paths, or join a ranger-guided tour at no additional cost.

To learn more about the island’s past and discover the eerie legend of the Lady in Black, make sure to pop into the Visitor Center.

Once you’re ready to head back to Boston, hop aboard one of the return ferries at your preferred time your ticket entitles you to a round-trip transfer with an open return time.
