Bordeaux Food Tour – 10+ Tastings – Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France

EXPERIENCE:

Explore the atmospheric Old Town of Bordeaux like a local with your foodie guide. Visit different restaurants, bakeries, and artisan shops around Bordeaux and indulge in Bordelaise specialties. We start our food tour with a local Canelé, a Bordeaux pastry dating back to the 15th century. As we walk along the cobbled streets, your guide will inform you about the local culture and heritage. Next stop, a local brasserie for a surprise dish to be shared among the group.

The local Dune Blanche is famous and France and at Chez Pascal we will discover this little white cream puff pastry. Our next store is a local confiture store where you will have the opportunity for a blind tasting of 3 products to guess the ingredients.

A local Fromagerie will welcome us next with 5 different cheeses to taste and enjoy. Meet the owner and learn about the production process.

Our final stop brings us to a local wine bar to taste 3 x Bordeaux wines to learn and discover the unique Bordeaux terroir.

The tour comprises of 12-15 tastings including the wine. Products may differ depending on seasonal availability.
