EXPERIENCE:

Ready to discover anecdotes about ancient Rome? Our driver will pick you up directly at your hotel and we will begin our visit by entering the Baths of Caracalla. They were inaugurated in the year 216, during the reign of Marcus Aurelius Severus Antoninus, known in historiography as “Caracalla”, the name of a garment (cloak of Gallic origin) that he imposed on Rome as fashion, making it obligatory for soldiers. These baths are the most sumptuous ever built, covered in fine marble and adorned with a large number of works of art.
Next we will visit the Circus Maximus, built during the power of the fifth king of Rome Lucius Tarquinius Priscus, a building dedicated to chariot racing, it was the largest circus of ancient Roman civilization. We will continue towards the famous and feared Mouth of Truth, where legend has it that if you put your hand in your mouth and told a lie, they would cut off your hand; and then we will finish our tour by walking to the Teatro Marcello.
