Arequipa: Full Day Colca Canyon Tour with transfer to Puno – Arequipa, Peru

EXPERIENCE:

This great canyon is located within the Colca Valley, is considered one of the main tourist destinations in Arequipa, is one of the deepest canyons in the world and its geography has a great variety of flora and fauna, as well as Andean villages with many traditions. From the viewpoint of the canyon we will be able to observe the flight of the condors, as well as beautiful landscapes.

This excursion begins with an early pick up from your hotel, we will head south. We will arrive at the town of Chivay to enjoy breakfast, then we will go to the viewpoint of the Cruz del Condor to appreciate the Colca Canyon in all its splendor, as well as observe the flight of the condors over the canyon.

We will continue our route and we will have a view of the surrounding towns, around noon we will go to the thermal baths of Chacapi to enjoy its natural pools. Then we will return to Chivay to have lunch on our own, and then continue our journey to the city of Puno.

On the way we will make some stops such as the Mirador de Patapampa, the volcanoes of Ampato and Sabancaya, we will also stop at the Reserve of Salinas and Lagunillas and we can observe some camelids or wild birds of the place. This tour will conclude in the terminal of the city of Puno at night.
