EXPERIENCE

After finding a meeting point that suits you in Amsterdam Central (if your hotel is in the area we can meet there), we head to Centraal Station, and hop on the ferry to urban, edgy Amsterdam-Noord, an area once used for heavy industry that today attracts the city s cool kids and artists. Check out a fascinating exhibition at the Eye Film Museum and see a collection of Dutch and foreign movies and film posters before zooming up the elevator to the A’DAM Lookout, an observation deck with a panoramic view of Amsterdam s historical center, the port, and the Dutch landscape.

Back at ground level, snap pictures of the NDSM Werf a shipping yard turned gritty skate park then take a peaceful stroll along the idyllic Noordhollandsch Canal (and maybe stop for a drink at the storybook-esque d Admiraal Windmill, a centuries-old smock windmill next to the canal).

Explore the Pekmarkt flea market which has a different theme every day of the week and browse through goods ranging from textiles to fresh local produce. Amble through the historic Nieuwendammerdijk, a quaint urban village that was once a late medieval settlement, and stop off at Pllek a post-industrial local hangout near the IJ waterfront housed in old storage containers. And if you still have a minute to spare? Gawk at Crane Hotel a quirky B&B set inside a former harbor crane.

Your itinerary will be personalized according to your preferences. Once you ve booked, someone from our team will be in touch, so let us know if you have any special requirements.
