8 DAY Peru: Lima, Ica, Cusco, Machu Picchu and Humantay Lake – Cusco Region, Peru

EXPERIENCE

Day 1: Pick up at the airport and Lima Tour
You will be picked up at the airport and transferred to the hotel. We will start the day visiting the Parque del Amor and the archaeological site of Huaca Pucllana. Then we will explore the historic center of Lima, including its squares, streets and churches. We will also enjoy a tasting of typical liquors and visit the Convent of San Francisco with its catacombs. City Tour 14:30 hrs – 18:00 hrs

Day 2: Ica-Paracas
We will leave early from Lima to visit the Ballestas Islands and then head to a vineyard for lunch. Afterwards we will explore the Huacachina with an exciting tubing and sandboarding tour. Ica Paracas: 4:30 hrs – 22:30 hrs

Day 3: Airport pick up and Cusco Tour
You will be picked up at your hotel to begin your Cusco city tour. You will visit Koricancha, Sacsayhuaman, Q’enqo, Pukapukara and Tambomachay.
City Tour: 12:50 hrs – 18:00 hrs

Day 4: Sacred Valley
Breakfast at the hotel and departure to the Sacred Valley, visiting Pisac and Ollantaytambo. You will enjoy a buffet lunch in Urubamba and then take the train to Aguas Calientes for the night.
Valle Sagrado: 7:30 hrs – 16:30 hrs

Day 5: Machu Picchu
Early departure to Machu Picchu by train from Ollantaytambo. After the guided tour, you will have lunch in Aguas Calientes and return to Cusco by train in the afternoon.
Day 6: Humantay Lagoon
Early pick up to travel to Mollepata and hike to the Humantay Lagoon. Enjoy lunch in Mollepata and return to Cusco in the afternoon.

Day 7: Rainbow Mountain
Another day of adventure, starting with a trip to Tintinco and a hike up to Rainbow Mountain. You will have lunch in Tintinco and return to Cusco in the afternoon.
Rainbow Mountain: 4:30 hrs – 17:30 hrs

Day 8: Transfer to the airport
You will be transferred to the Cusco airport or bus terminal according to your itinerary.
