6-Day Machu Picchu Tour with Hotel*** – Cusco Region, Peru

EXPERIENCE

Day 1: Airport Pickup + Cusco City Exploration

We’ll collect you from your hotel to initiate the exploration of Cusco city, starting around 9:00 am and extending until approximately 2:30 pm.
Exploring Cusco
(You’ll discover: Koricancha, Sacsayhuaman, Q’enqo, Puka pukara, and Tambomachay).

Day 2: Sacred Valley Expedition

Start your day with breakfast at the hotel before setting out for the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Explore the sites of Pisac and Ollantaytambo from 7:00 am to around 3:00 pm. Enjoy a buffet lunch in Urubamba before embarking on an afternoon train journey from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes. Check into your hotel for an overnight stay in Aguas Calientes, the gateway to Machu Picchu.

Day 3: Machu Picchu Exploration

Your day commences with a hearty breakfast at the hotel, preparing you for an unforgettable adventure. Board a scenic bus for a round-trip journey to Machu Picchu, where a guided tour awaits you to uncover the mysteries of this ancient citadel. After exploring, enjoy a leisurely lunch in Aguas Calientes before returning by train to Ollantaytambo. From there, transportation will be arranged to take you back to Cusco, where you’ll spend the night at your selected hotel, reminiscing about the day’s adventures.

Day 4: Humantay Lake Expedition

Embark on an early start with a hotel pickup around 4:00 am, initiating your journey from Cusco to Mollepata, which takes approximately 3 hours. Upon arrival, indulge in a delicious breakfast in the quaint town of Mollepata.

Next, embark on a scenic hike to Humantay Lake, a trek lasting approximately 2 hours, surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty. Following your exploration, enjoy a satisfying lunch back in Mollepata before beginning your journey back to Cusco, expected around 6:00 pm.

Conclude your day with an overnight stay at your Cusco hotel, where you can unwind and reflect on the day’s memorable experiences.

Day 5: Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain Trek

Your day begins with a 4:00 am hotel pickup for a scenic drive from Cusco to Tintinco, a journey of approximately 3 hours. Upon arrival, enjoy a delicious breakfast in Tintinco before embarking on a thrilling 2.5-hour hike to Rainbow Mountain.

After marveling at the colorful beauty of Rainbow Mountain, return to Tintinco for a satisfying lunch. Then, journey back to Cusco, arriving around 5:00 pm.

DAY 6: AIRPORT TRANSFER
Our transportation will be ready at the specified time to take you to Cusco airport or the bus terminal.
