Look out for renowned sculptures and masterpieces of Renaissance art. Feel the weight of history and get a sense of the sacred as you spy paintings by Raphael, Giotto, Leonardo da Vinci, Caravaggio and Michelangelo, including his masterwork in the Sistine Chapel.

Admire Bernini’s colonnade in St. Peter’s Square and go inside the Basilica. Built over the centuries by famous architects including Michelangelo, its iconic dome is one of the glittering symbols of Rome.

There are morning and afternoon tours. Morning tours (3,5 hours) include the Galleria dei Candelabri, the Galleria degli Arazzi (Raphael Cartoons), the Galleria delle Carte geografiche, the Sala Sobieski, the Sala dell’Immacolata Concezione, the Raphael Rooms, the Borgia Apartments leading to the Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica and Square. On Wendesdays the Basilica is not visited inside due to the Papal Audience, therefore after the Sistine Chapel you will access the Vatican Apostolic Library instead (St. Peter’s will be explained from the outside before ending the tour). Afternoon tours (3 hours) include the Galleria dei Candelabri, the Galleria degli Arazzi (Raphael Cartoons), the Galleria delle Carte geografiche, the Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica and Square.
