Day 1
Departing from your hotel at 03:30 am, we’ll embark on a 4-hour journey to the enchanting Mikumi National Park. As we drive through the countryside, our knowledgeable guide will share fascinating insights about the local culture and landscape. Upon arrival, we’ll begin a full-day game drive, where you’ll have the opportunity to witness a vast array of wildlife, including elephants, buffalos, lions, leopards, zebras, wildebeests, and many more. We’ll break for lunch at the iconic Baobab Tree, before continuing our safari adventure through the park until 17:00. As the day comes to a close, we’ll stop by the Hippo’s pool to enjoy the stunning Morogoro sunset, before retiring to our campsite for a delicious hot dinner and an unforgettable overnight stay- Camp Bastian

Day 2
After a hearty breakfast, you’ll set out on a two-hour journey to the Udzungwa Mountains for a day-long hiking adventure. As you hike along the picturesque trails, your guide will point out various trees that are used for traditional healing and highlight the diverse birdlife in the area. Upon reaching the summit, be greeted by the awe-inspiring Sanje Waterfalls, the largest waterfall in the park with a towering height of 170m. Take a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear pools or simply relax and soak in the magnificent views.After lunch back at your lodge in the Mikumi area, head out on an excursion to visit a nearby Maasai village. Immerse yourself in the fascinating Maasai culture, learning about their customs, rituals, and unique way of life. Witness the Maasai’s famed “high jumping dance” and see their custom dress, worn with pride by these courageous warriors. As the sun sets, bid farewell to your Maasai hosts and return to your lodge for a well-deserved dinner and restful overnight sleep. This adventure-packed day will leave you with memories to last a lifetime.

Day 3
As we begin our journey back to Dar es Salaam after breakfast, you have the option to make a pitstop at the snake park to witness various snake species. For those who are not interested, we will proceed straight to Dar es Salaam.
After the snake park visit (or skip), we will continue our journey and enjoy the picturesque landscapes of Tanzania along the way. We will break for a delicious lunch at Morogoro town. As the journey progresses, enjoy the scenic views of the Tanzanian countryside before arriving at your hotel or original departure point. This memorable trip through Tanzania’s natural wonders and cultural landmarks will leave you with memories to cherish for a lifetime.
